I love abortion discussions. Everyone gets so riled up and angry. We're usually so full of love and affection, but when it comes to little fetuses, things change. Where is the love, my crazy Republican friend?

If you'd been aborted, we wouldn't be able to read about the Temple baseball team!

Who's angry?  Apparently we disagree.  So be it.

The remnants of your adolsecent cockiness is tiresome, not your poliitcal point of view.

If I didn't have my adolescent cockiness, then I would be an adult. And who wants to be an adult?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

My four-year-old son.  Yesterday.

MDS

I highly doubt your four year old is an adult. Can he even cook for himself, cause I can make pasta.

He can do easy mac and cheese in the microwave, which puts him on par with most college-aged males.

He does need some assistance with that, though.

I don't give a shtein what invisible superman in the sky you pray to.  What I care about is if you're running the government you are willing to listen to the people and govern based on the principles of the entire electorate, not just those of whom you agree with from a spiritual standpoint.

Huckabee and those of his ilk wish to impose their loony brand of religious fundamentalism on everyone, and in my opinion, that makes them no better than the Taliban.

Well said.

Woo an abortion discussion. Let's say this: there is a difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion. No one is really pro-abortion. Pro-choice enables you to...choose. Yea, there it is. It gives you the option. And really, do you give a shtein if some hobag in Portland gets knocked-up and wants the thing killed? You don't have to get an abortion, you can keep it if you want. But if someone else wants to get rid of the thing, who cares, it's not your business.

Just sharing my view.  Sorry if you can't handle someone who thinks differently than yourself.

Hey, in the end, I have no more or less say than any of you.

In my opinio, regardless of religious conviction, the devaluing of human life undermines a nation's moral authority.  To me, the current mass-availability of abortion has done just that.

Funny thing, most of you are probably against the death penalty, and yet are "pro choice" in regard to aboriton.  Incongruity at its finest.  And before someone wants to make a smarky comment, I am against the death penalty myself, at least as currently constituted in this nation.

I was staunchly Pro-Life until I realized just how many children are born to families that have no business having kids.  And I'm not even talking about the arguable sense, like raising them with the "wrong" values or whatever.  I'm talking about parents that can't afford kids, don't attempt to properly nourish them, hide their bodies in the attic after finding them dead (current events in the NC paper today!), etc etc.  Would I rather condoms and pills were distributed and the morons actually used them?  Yes.  Would they actually use them?  No, because they're idiots.  Whatever.  The world's going to shtein anyway.  "Aborting" or killing unwanted fetuses/babies is the least of our problems.  Eat shtein, all of you.

Vote for Hillary.

LOL at the value of human life.  Are you fargin' serious?  What unmitigated arrogance.  Human life is no more important than a cockroach's life, yet I sincerely doubt anyone here would give a second thought to stomping a roach's guts out.

It's preconceptions like that that make me long for nuclear war.  I'd rather die in a firestorm of atomic death than listen to the pretentiousness of pro-lifer's any longer.

Wow man.  Just go Bud Dwyer and get it over with.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

So far we have two snide comments and nothing of substance from you.  I think I'm correct.

Then let's cancel all murder laws.  Obviiously they're not necessary since human life has no value.

I'm pissed the Eagles lost, too, but take it easy...

I just don't see that as a reason to abort life.  Deal with the root issues:  parenting classes, more competent supervision (especially in Florida), actually pay social workers a decent salary and have more stringent requirements.  Anyone convicted of violent child abuse fixed (maybe Machiavellian, but a possibility).  To not even give a chiild a chance creates more victims to this culture.

Either way, I've said my piece and don't really like repeating myself.  Other than needed responses to salient points, I'm done.  I hate pissing matches.

Well, I'd need to be elected to the PA Legislature first.  Care to chair my campaign?
