Because some of the radical right wing terrorists were cops/military/firefighters I'm sure they're just doing their diligence. I guess it's possible they have intelligence but gossip among the ranks spreads faster than heroin in Kensington. Guarantee they've all been lectured by their higher ups and ratting in the military is encouraged and rewarded.

Isn't it great a draft dodging maniac who insults war heroes and never had a family member serve has nothing to worry about but a guy who ends every speech with "God bless our troops" and had two sons serve - one in a war zone - has to put up with this shtein. We're such a bass ackwards country.

Not sure how anyone can watch this and not realize we're at war. It's a lot more in depth showing the radical right wing terrorists didn't just storm the Capitol without a plan. It's footage inside the chamber and a lot worse. Jan 6th was really just their start date. I'd stay away from Government buildings, historic landmarks, and major media outlets on Jan 20th. This doesn't end on the 20th either.

I'd like to think that'll be SOP going forward along with law enforcement too. I saw a video clip yesterday of some sheriff deputy in his gear with one of those 3% patches. Like come on really? Why is that allowed?

There was a bit of an uproar about personnel in my office wearing political slogans (Trump masks in this case).  It's a freedom of expression issue for me, and I couldn't care less what those numbskulls espouse on their free time.  But during work hours?  Nope.  We work for a constitutional officer and their wearing of political slogans are tacit endorsements, and that's a no-no for us.
