most polling suggests early voting is heavily leaning dem, but thats just polling. this are total votes now correlated to votes from 2016. the even results among d/r counties tells you at least in texas the vote share is more balanced

Trump did much better last night (extremely low expectations)...too little too late, most peoples minds are made up. He should have given that performance during the 1st debate.

Extremely worried but at the same time we're already seeing record turnout which is favorable for Dems (50 million votes already cast), Biden's actually likeable and announced his candidacy late...they saw Hilary coming a few years out and started their successful smear campaign which crushed her. He's seen as more blue collar whereas Hilary was a typical politician and corporate shill. Trump motivated the left like no one I've seen in my lifetime. I won't feel confident until January after the inauguration because even if he loses Trumps not leaving quietly if he leaves at all.

Texas is the only state that might matter in and that was the long shot dream get anyway. There's only about 150K oil workers in the US now I believe. Is there a swing state in the country besides Texas that probably employs a lot of them? Probably not.
