Hey I already agreed that the hope basically is that HRC was universally disliked and Biden ain't Hillary. That's what the whole election is basically riding on. That...doesn't give me a lot of comfort. If the hopes of the election and what it will swing on are "the candidate is more liked than Hillary", then I'd just rather have the guy who is also well liked by Dem voters but also has the energy behind him.

Look, she's an absolutely awful person. She's vain, vindictive, and hellaciously arrogant.  I'm not disputing that one damn bit.  But the fact of the matter is there's every bit as many misogynists in this country as there are racists.  Maybe more.  I saw it first hand recently in my work place. 

A guy refused to take orders from a female supervisor.  When another female got promoted over him, he literally lost his shtein to the point where he got demoted and transferred out of the office entirely.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Hillary was a dude, she would have wiped the floor with Trump because the same character attributes that cause men to hate a female are what also cause them to vote for an colossally disgusting puke like Trump.

Yeah Romey I don't think anyone denies that. No doubt in my mind misogyny played a big role in the hatred for Clinton and the fact that by far the best President in this race couldn't win the nomination. I get more bummed each day I think about it, having a President as smart and as on top of her shtein policy wise as Liz would have been amazing, especially immediately following this Trump Admin shteinshow.

But looking at the turnout numbers for Super Tuesday...idk man, Hillary seemed to be hated way more than I thought, and I already thought she was pretty well disliked. One of the exit polls out there found that 40% of dem voters who sat out the primary in 2016...voted for Biden! That was Sanders big play, to get people off the bench and come vote, and instead Biden got a huge chunk of people who didn't even bother in 2016. Biden ain't exactly inspirational lol. That tells me it wasn't her politics that turned those voters off to her in 2016, cause Biden is virtually the same that way. It was her. Just pretty wild.
