youre right that its all about getting millennials and minorities out, but there quite frankly arent enough of them in ohio to offset the stupid white people. in 2018 florida won both the senate and the gov race. every year thousands of old boomers move down there. they dont let you vote if youre black and got a speeding ticket. florida is a hole.

Florida just passed that law to restore voting rights to 1.4 million felons, but it's also pushing through legislation that says they won't get their right to vote back if they don't pay any outstanding court fines and fees, so most of them won't be getting their right to vote back any time soon.

Obama was a freaking rock star. He'd of won a third term in a landslide. There's not a Dem candidate remotely close.

Dark horse blue state flip is Texas. Don't know if it happens in 2020 but it's trending blue.

State-wide, Florida is often on a razor-thin margin. Miami, Orlando and Tampa vs. Jacksonville, Pensacola and Ft. Myers/Naples.  It will be interesting to keep an eye on.

Biden isn't the only possible Democrat winner, but they can't self-implode.  Trump certainly can win a second term if the Democratic Party doesn't get its act together.

PA is going blue in 2020, I'm not even worried about it. MI as well. MI is more progressive and PA has way more young and minority voters and the white suburban vote abandoned Trump large scale in 2018.

As Todd said, WI is a much bigger crapshoot. Im almost leaning towards feeling better about AZ than WI at this point, but Dems should def pour money into both states.

Warren's poll numbers have shot up as she's gotten more exposure. If you watch her on the trail she is really, really good at talking to people.

The real campaign starts next summer.  There just isn't a candidate out there who is Trump proof.   Harris is a black woman, Lizzy is a kooky liberal grandma, Bernie's a socialist wacko who couldn't beat Hillary... and they're the three "strongest" challengers to Uncle Joe.

i know youre on the good side but i feel like this talking points sentiment has no bearing on reality. what would you like the party to do? they took back the house in 2018. they have an insanely diverse electorate. republicans by and large are white and either jesus freaks or racists. trump hits both so hes god to them. dems are black, brown, progressive, religious, poor, female, educated and on and on. lotta different demos with a lot of different needs and wants. not every candidate is going to be for everybody.
