And I know it's not a sporting event. But who had the better performance.

Wow.
Just curious, is there anybody in the current elections with any ties to Indiana? I don't know what the penalties are for conspiring to commit voter fraud and stuffing the ballot box but I hope at this point it is a felony.

It's actually very easy to be disengaged.

If you have to work and have a family, that usually creates enough of a distraction to be disengaged.

Big deal if you know what is going on. But it's worthless if you're not active doing something about it. "Sharing" shtein on social media doesn't count as doing something.

I think the minimum engagement is congregating or exchanging ideas (such as this forum) is because it may inspire someone to the point of becoming even more active or piss someone off to the point of becoming more active. But for the most part, the majority who are engaged, are at a minimum, and they sit at the sidelines. At least it has been my experience.

The current system counts on a sedentary population.

So going back to being disengaged, it's easy. It's lazy, and being engaged takes effort, but I can see why people are disengaged. During this or any election cycle. Worse now because there are so many news outlets that the over saturation has created a "I'm tired of hearing about this shtein" attitude in people.

normally this is true but not this election

pence went 3-4 with 2 doubles and and rbi
kaine dropped 27 and dished out 5 assists with 6 rebounds
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

this has been the most followed election year ever by miles and miles...im not saying you have to be all wonky about the race but if you literally dont know who donald trump is as a candidate like the lil guy says many of his friends dont then just shoot yourself in the mouth

its more of indifference than anything

like i hate them both who cares. and that indifference leads them to not really paying attention.

i havent come across anyone who pays attention and follows it and still hasnt made up their mind.

Yeah, if you're big time into social issues, then it's impossible not to know what's going on.  But if you're just some average schmuck who doesn't give a shtein about much of anything outside of your immediate bubble, then it's probably very easy to ignore this election.  Hell, I'm very concerned about the social state of this country and I'm still keeping everything at an arm's distance because I don't find either candidate very appealing.  And if I didn't legitimately give a farg about the social injustices in this country, I'd be completely checked out too.

Tomahawk

It's not about engagement or lack thereof. People, I hope, are disenfranchised and cynical instead because they realize no matter who is elected, the end result will be nearly the same.

Well Kaine won then because Pence had an RBI and we know they don't mean shtein.
