no one ever claimed the RIGHT is the pure source of hatred.

You haven't read this whole thread, huh?

no i haven't read the whole thread but i can say with certainty that NO ONE in this thread claimed that the republicans/conservatives are the sole providers of hate while the democrats are the beacon of truth and justice. or that being republican means you are racist or xenophobic. but those individuals who do think that way usually have RIGHT leanings.

all politicians are corrupt and greedy. just varying degrees. this is more about attracting the vote. the fundo right wing christian vote has to go somewhere and the republicans have that market cornered. its not the left's problem that their crazies are not speaking up or spewing racist rhetoric or that the RIGHT can not control their crazies.

Well, you just said something with certainty, but it's still false.

My neighbor just told me that he can't vote for Obama, because my neighbor is an American and won't vote for a Muslim.

I didn't correct him, because I figure us righties need all the votes we can get.

Is that a joke? I really hope it is.

There's going to be a lot of wealthy people out there that might have to forgo their second yacht. Think of all the soon-to-be unemployed yacht-builders. Have you no shame? You socialists are disgusting.

You give retarded iceholes a bad name.

Please, please, please kill yourself.

Which part do you wish was a joke?  That someone still thinks Obama is a Muslim, or that I didn't correct him?

Actually, it doesn't matter, because both parts are in fact, true.

Jesus, man.  Even I've corrected people who say McCain has always been a Bush lover.  Because he's not.  He's damn close recently, but he's a lot smarter and braver, and a heck of a lot more independent.  It doesn't take much to best Bush in those ways, but a fact is a fact.

I'm sure you'll sleep tight on that, but it's pretty lousy nevertheless.   It's some scum of the earth people you're running with in that party.

For lack of a better place to post this note about Elizabeth Dole, I'll put it here.  Republican desperation and Rove-ish tactics at their best

Quotedemonstrated political acumen

When did she do this?

The whole quote:
QuoteIn one corner are some conservatives who believe the Alaska governor has been a detriment to John McCain's presidential bid and threatens to lead the party astray for the foreseeable future. (This would be me)

Another faction says Palin's core-conservative beliefs, demonstrated political acumen, and compelling frontier biography position her to reshape the face of a party now viewed by many voters as out of touch.

To answer bluntly, she hasn't. But there are those consevatives out there who are in love with her, and a few are quoted in that article. They feel she has a "middle-class magnetism." They are friggen' idiots. For the life of me, I can't believe some of the quotes from genuine Republicans in that article, and wonder what it is they see in this woman that they think qualifies her for office of VP, or might enable her to run for president in 4 years.

Core conservative beliefs, and frontier biography!?!? Like when she says only small middle American towns are patriotic? Or when she says you can actually see Russia from Alaska? Or when she says that the bailout helps those who care about health care reform, or that it will help with job creation?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot how those "core conservative beliefs" go so well with the fact that the Republican National Committee spent more than $150,000 on clothing and make-up for Gov. Sarah Palin, her husband, and even her infant son.

This country is going in the crapper, quick, fast and in a hurry.

ha Bill O Rielly is trying his best.

he has the former FBI investigator who was undercover with the grp Ayers was a part off talking about bad of a person Ayers is/was.

of course the investigator comes off a like a Republican talking point by saying "yes he was a very bad man and Obama's judgment needs to be questioned"

then Bill makes fun of Ayers for refusing to do a interview. then Bill says how in some far left circles, like the University he is a Professor at, he is considered a respectable man and a educator. of course they both share a chuckle saying "FAR LEFT CIRCLES".

Bill fails to mention how Ayers has also worked with Republicans and former Reagan administration members. or how McCain also has very questionable associations. or how Palin's husband wanted Alaska to seperate from the US.

they both shared further nods and chuckles and went to commercial. this is what passes as hard hitting independent fair and balanced journalism.

why o why did i randomly decide to watch his show for that segment?

yes.

but the real answer is that i thought every channel was carrying the obama commercial. and i thought maybe they would be talking about the 30 min special and how it came off but it was a taped show of the Factor.

No, it's not, and like what has been said before, the only example of such journalism that you can find is on FOX News, were as you only need turn the dial to any station on the tube and you will find an equally opposite example.
