So your a redneck if you didn't like the plan  let me ask you something.

You might be a redneck if......you write "your" instead of you're.

You also might be a a redneck if you then go on to try to explain how all those lazy Mexicans are going to freeload off of our hard earned tax money.

Nice duck of the question, would you be cool with it?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, thats what I said. What part was wrong. Illeagle immigrants break into our country, use our educational and healthcare system without paying for it?  And who said lazy mexicans? not me.

I hate all of you, but maybe phillymic the most.

This government is so farged, and neither of these iceholes are going to fix anything.

I'm tempted to vote McCain to help start the revolution.

This is a perfectly valid position. Don't even get me started...

I don't believe illegal immigrants are doing this without paying for it. Or if there are any then it's hardly substantial - Especially compared to tremendous the waste that's gone on the past eight years.  How (exactly) are you suggesting these people suck from the system's teet without paying into it?

Back to the question, though. Assuming there WERE somebody like this that "lived in my backyard", what would I do? Like they pitched a tent or built some little lean-to against our fence?

Of course the real issue here is votes. Well, money, but votes come before money. Do you think those pulling strings behind the Right Wing actually give a flying farg about immigrants? Hell, as far as their concerned all of Mexico can walk in here, at least then they could pay their employess less. Bonus -  They're harder workers, too. No, the real issue is votes. And how do they get votes? Their old stand-by: Fear. In this case, fear of someone with a different skin color taking supposedly taking shtein FROM YOU - The hard workin' man. That's right, be afraid, very afraid. And don't forget about gay marriage - Them flags are trying to spit on the legitimacy of your marriage. Besides, isn't it against your people's religion or something?

Ignorance and fear are the Right Wing's biggest allies, but who is their biggest tool? Rush Limbaugh, of course...

Personally, I don't believe that either party truly gives a "flying farg" about immigrants, blacks, whites, men, women, or anything else, except getting elected, and then re-elected.

I'm registered republican, to my old lady's eternal chagrin, just to muddy the waters.  I love it when a pollster calls my number to take the pulse of Joe Republican.

I laughed at phillymic's use of "illeagle".  I don't know if it was intentional or not, but either way, nice job there.

The convention/Palin bounce is officially over.  Obama is now ahead of where he was at the end of the Democratic convention.  The state by state results are still pretty close, but the state polls lag the national results.  Should be an interesting week.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Some Repubelicans believe the upcoming debates will actually help McCain.

They are sadly mistaken.
