If FISA actually did issue a warrant to tap Trump's phones, it's because there was probable cause essentially to suggest Trump/his associates were engaged in espionage.  The moron doesn't understand that.  It would be a monster scandal but against him, not BHO.

I hope he goes down. Him and all of his cronies. I read that since he brought it up he's not unveiled the secrecy of it and it's open to exploration of what was in the warrant. True?

The more I think about it the more I think this is the ultimate mis-step by the cheezit.

If his offices were bugged, that means he was being investigated for something as Legendz pointed out.
If they weren't (they weren't) he looks like a paranoid conspiracy theorist loon. Which he is.

There's no way he wins from this.

Let's just pretend for a minute that a successful impeachment is actually a viable thing.  Are we really going to be better off with Pence?  I guess we will be in the sense that we'll probably just go back to business as usual in DC instead of the absolute shtein storm that's taking place right now, but I'm wondering if having a major political shake up on what is currently a very unstable political system is going improve or worsen the current climate. 

Pretty much think we're farged either way.

Pence would almost certainly try to find more of a middle road with his appointees (though not his policies) and would almost certainly eject the Bannon/Miller portion of the administration. In other words, he wouldn't actively work to dismantle the government.

He would be a typical, socially regressive politician who would be wildly unpopular instead of a dangerously unhinged con-man pawn of the Kremlin who is wildly unpopular.

We wouldn't be in good shape, but we would be in better shape. And 2018/2020 would essentially be a bloodbath for Republicans.
