Yeah, I'm aware of that interview.  There are more options to avoid a brokered convention than a joint ticket however.

Obama has basically zero chance to win the PA primary, so that's really a non-starter.

But once again, the importance of "winning" in this primary is really minimal.  Obama has to continue to get the message out that Hillary supporters would vote for him in a general, but his supporters wouldn't bother leaving their homes to vote for the bitch.

ice grillin you

losing the pa primary would be huge not so much because barry lost it but because it extends this fiasco into the summer and hurts whoever is the nominee against mccain

the most important thing here is to take the white house back and this clusterfarg is not helping

Well, I have bad news for you, then.  He's losing the PA primary.  He might only lose by 4-5%, but he's losing.

Although I disagree on the importance of PA - If Obama finds a way to win, the race is over.  If not, I think the rest of your message is dead-on.  I would even go so far as to say that this should be the emphasis of his campaign in PA, so that the message is not lost even if he loses the delegate count.

I think the most important thing is to put Obama in the White House.  If that doesn't happen, America gets a FAIL

That makes no sense.  He is not going to lose the pledged delegate count by any stretch of the numbers, and if loses the overall delegate count, he loses the nomination.  It's Hillary's campaign that NEEDS the win in PA to even have a fake justification to continue.  Obama needs to make it clear that getting more votes and delegates in the state of Pennsylvania means jack shtein.

Get ready to put your red marker on the report card.  The Republicans swiftly nominated the supposed "maverick" that can actually get some middle-of-the-road voters.  Ralph Nader is moving forward yet again.  And Hillary is pounding the shtein out of Obama and giving the Republicans unending ammo for the general.

It's incredible, but the Democrats are doing everything they can to alienate people from all races and classes and both parties.  I can't even fathom how many people are still supporting Hillary.  The calls for her to drop out should be unending.

Diomedes

Ya well put me down as not voting if Hillary somehow gets the nomination.

And if Obama gets it, put me down as voting and donating.

there arent calls for her to drop out because they dont want to eliminate someone whos probably going to end up winning california - new york - ohio - pa - florida and michigan...they think she can stand up to the right wing attack machine better than obama they knows hes a far superior politician...all that and the the fact that many people know that a black man aint winning the presidency of this country is keeping hillary alive in the minds of many

so while more people like barry better and want him to win they are at the same time being pragmatic about this realizing that hillary just may be the best candidate when all is said and done

Don't be ridiculous - There is no way states like California go red, I don't care who is running.  I also think that Obama would ultimately win NY, Michigan, and PA.  The only credit I could give to Hillary are Florida and Ohio, both of which have been critical battlegrounds recently.

you can think whatever you want...im telling you what other people are thinking and why there arent calls for her to drop

and the california argument doesnt fly because if you want you cant also point out most of obama wins are all in states that have no chance to go blue

It's ridiculous that anyone correlates the person who wins the party primary in a given state to that person having more strength in the general election in the same state.

Think about it, and it simply makes absolutely zero sense.

ice grillin you

its not so much who wins and loses but more about the exit polling and what blocks of voters you got...

for example no one believes obama is going to get swing voters in ohio over mccain...the reagan democrats wont vote for barry but did and maybe will vote for hillary

Yeah, there's a lot of those Reagan Democrats still hanging around.  Good call.

ice grillin you

theres tons of them in ohio and pennsy...its precisely why hillary will have ended up winning both
