This was a such an awesome thing to wake up to this morning. Woke up late and was rushing to get going overall pretty angry at the world and then I quick saw on the news what happened and it totally changed my attitude. Such a big victory for the troops and the country.

Should Obama take credit for killing Bin Laden? Reagan took credit for ending the cold war and toppling the Soviet Empire, which had nothing to do with his rhetoric and everything to do with the Soviet Union going broke and no longer affording to do global mischief. Obama made Commander-in-Chief decisions about a military mission that might have failed. The GOP blasted Clinton for the Mogadishu fiasco that was the basis for "Black Hawk Down." They'll find some insane reason to try to take Obama out of this picture, maybe even downplaying the significance of the event. They MUST do this; it's the only way they can play to their rabidly stupid voter base. HELL YES, Obama should claim credit for this, and some honest, intelligent members of the GOP have already done this. Remarkable, but true. Congratulations to them for their honesty and courage, traits missing, far to often, among their colleagues.

I turned on Rush just to see what his take was.  He was going on and on about how he gives all the credit in the world to Obama for sticking with the search, and for making the call to have a Seal team go in and take care of it rather than rely on a drone or other bombing.  He also interchanged Osama and Obama a few times which seemed like he was trying to mix them up on purpose.  He also was blowing Cheney/Bush for Gitmo and that their policies allowed this to happen. 

Anyone know why Fox News still uses Usama Bin Laden?  It's universally Osama everywhere else.
