perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

SD

Palin talking to a protestor

what a condescending little funhole

"What do YOU do for a living"
"I'm a teacher"
"Oh"

General_Failure

She got a little Chris Farley's motivational speaker arm action going there.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Diomedes

I'd like to punch the thug in sunglasses who kept trying to get between the camera and Palin.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Jon Stewart is shredding GOP reps for whining about the tax cuts expiring and in the same breath saying they need to reduce the deficit....when letting the tax cuts expire will reduce it by 300 billion

Also showed a clip of Newt calling Obama/Pelosi/Reid socialists, and then saying that we need to be more like China :-D

In a static environment perhaps, but tax cuts in the past have preceded record revenue increases for the Federal government, fyi.

For the record I agree that the tax cuts, particularly for the top bracket, should expire but to think that it will be some sort of panacea is naive.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

I certainly don't think it'll be the cure all for the deficit, but the CBO is saying it should reduce it by 300 billion, which I think is by far the biggest dent the current administration has put in it so far.

The CBO lost all credibility when it said we were going to have a trillion dollar surplus based on a static 7.5-8% growth rate.

OK so you're arguing that letting the tax cuts expire WON'T cut the deficit?
