Rhetorical questions aside, no.  He'd consider the move weak, and a reward to the evil doers.  As if brokering a deal to rescue Americans would make the United States somehow less powerful in the world, and the evil doers more powerful.  It's a farged up logic, but thinking isn't a neo-con strong suit.

There's nothing funnier than Clinton-haters to me. The man was flawed and some of the stories about his rise to power are pretty slimy but every single one of us was better off when he was president than we were before or after. People laugh him off because his personal life was made very embarrassingly public but take away his blowjob fiasco and everyone would still be singing his praises, W never would have been elected and this country would be in much better shape.
