Called the VA this morning to schedule an appointment, they scheduled me for next Thursday. Damn socialist.

Back here in NJ the VA has had a "freeze" and no new case files could be started since mid-June ???

Interesting, the lady told me the it would probably be sometime in September before I was seen, then they call me the same day and tell me there's an opening Thursday. Talked to my buddy yesterday and he said the same thing happened to him.

My guess with that situation is they're over budget and waiting for the new fiscal year to begin (October).

Looks like the sheeple are starting to ask questions. Might be why Arlen says they have to make fast decisions and they didn't like him saying that either.

:o really. I have no problem with a well thought out plan to cover the uninsured. The fact they are trying to rush this thing thru is complete B.S. How are they going to pay for it? are they going to jump into to it like the clunkers for cash, and then relize they need to double the initial cost to keep it alive? The Administration floats comments about the middle class tax hike

QuoteTwo of President Barack Obama's economic heavyweights said middle-class taxes might have to go up to pare budget deficits or to pay for the proposed overhaul of the nation's health care system.

And then they say no they wont.

Reform, yes.

Government takeover, no.

What part of single payer do you not believe, when we say it? or when it comes out of their own mouths? :-D

Thank Jebus the government never took over our fire departments. I see no problem with paying the fire department only when one's own house is on fire. God forbid some of my taxes going toward saving someone ELSE's house. That would be farging socialist.
