While I think Obama can and should do better, the level of improvement over what came before is remarkable and the Republican party is in the toilet right now. Popularity wise and ideologically. Things need to improve but let's not go crazy just yet.

I have no problem with how Obama is handling the economic situation and if he can even stop the slide within a few years it would be a miracle. I do not however accept that shadyness is okay since it's to a much lesser extent than the worst president in history or that he is at this point basically denying gays rights himself at this point.
