You realize that if when the "stimulus" fails, that the mid-term elections will likely go Republican right?

We'll see about that. Depends if the voters think it failed because the Democrats sorta got their way, or because the Republicans obstructed them.

And just to be clear, I don't think the GOP will regain control of both Houses...just that the Dem majority will be smaller than it is today.

To your point Dio, the Dems pretty much rammed the stimulus through and now own this thing. There were no GOP votes in the House because they don't want anything to do with it. They can now say "see what {insert Dem name here} did? Eight hundred billion gone and not a single job created".

For my own selfish reasons, I hope the stimulus works but I can also hope for Andy Reid to run the ball more...ain't neither one gonna happen.
