Bottled up my first batch yesterday. Tried one but it's hard to gauge the taste because it's flat without the carbonation. Gonna give it a month before I try another one. It had an odd odor but I guess that's normal. Had a Sam Fall sampler pack and cracked open a Pumpkin ale last night. Smelled and taste almost exactly like what I brewed. If it's decent I'll bring some to either the Giants or Dallas game in late October.

My next batch I'm thinking Nut Brown Ale.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Beer didn't carbonate during secondary fermenting. I'm bringing a bottle into work tomorrow for my buddy to test. He's been brewing for 25 years. I think I let it sit in fermentation too long before I bottled it.

I had the same problem when I made mine years ago. Tasted awful.

Too fratboy to know how to fight anyway, but I've got to think you have to be pretty drunk to take a mug to the face and not feel it.

Yuengling winning here isn't much of a surprise, but I wonder if Dogfish was included on the list...probably would have won here if it was.
