Thanks.

Well, here's to hoping he's healthy enough, and wily enough, to contain Colston.

Suck it up and get an Injection, Lito.

No shtein. Like SunMo said, the only part of his game that would suffer is tackling. Deion Sanders didn't make one single tackle in his career.

This could be bad. Horn, Colston, Henderson and Copper can torch this secondary. Not to mention they suck at tackling and OHMIGOD Reggie Bush can have a field day.
Horn is doubtful.

Horn says he'll play

QuoteSaints WR Joe Horn, who did not finish the regular season thanks to a groin strain, vows to play in the Saints' home playoff game in two weeks. "You gut it out regardless," said Horn. "This opportunity doesn't come that often, and now we have the opportunity to win a playoff game and go to the NFC championship and have that opportunity to play (in the Super Bowl) in Miami. It doesn't come much in the NFL and in your career, so I'm definitely going to gut it out and be on that football field."

Still, you have to wonder how effective can he be considering he hasn't played in over a month and has a partially torn groin.

horn is irrelevant...even healthy he is a shell of his former self and hes not healthy...

his playing or not playing has no efect on the final score of this game

He had 6 catches for 110 yards and 2 TDs in our last meeting, that's certainly relevant to this game even if he's injured.

ice grillin you

if he even plays ill be somewhat surprised...if he plays and contributes ill be shocked...i guess the one positive thing it does is to take a veteran out of the lineup and replace him with a young inexperienced guy who maybe will make a fatal mistake....but thats reaching big time

its a non starter

The Eagles' coaches thought so much of Joe Horn that they put Michael Lewis in coverage against him deep. It just so happens that 'a shell of Joe Horn's former self' is still significantly better than Michael Lewis.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Devery Henderson would've had those same numbers had he played in Horn's place in the 1st game

I would have had those same numbers in the first game if I'd have played in Horn's place.

But Joe Horn is still someone to be concerned about.  He's a tough veteran and he'll play his heart out this weekend.

Eaglez

Even so,  you have to respect Joe Horn's ability to make plays. Him being on the field will at least demand some attention which could open up other plays downfield.

He could bring an emotional boost on top of the high they will probably be riding if they come out of the gate hot.

Some of you cats are seriously underestimating Joe Horn.

he cant run right now and isnt that good anymore anyway...could he do something in this game sure...but hes about at the bottom of the list of things to worry about and he wont be any kind of difference maker...

The only way he shreds the Eagles Saturday is if they focus on stopping the run and roll the coverage to Colston and Henderson... which is probably advisable.

So, yeah... I expect him to come up big.  Him and Terrance Copper.
