Jamaal Jackson: "We are just making too many mistakes."

Gunn: "what is going on with the mistakes?"

Jackson: "I don't have an answer for that. We just have to find a way to get it right. We will find a way to turn this aroud"

They will beat Washington and Tennessee.

After seeing how ticked he was they will come out smoking.
Now after those two games? Who knows. But they'll be 6-4

I'd love to feel that way Phreak.  I really would.

But today was their game to come out smoking.  Today was the game they needed to stop a 2 game slide, avoid going .500, and get back into the NFC East race playing at home against a banged up JAX team without their starting QB fresh off a beatdown from the Houston farging Texans.

Instead... they came out and flat out quit.  What reason is there to believe that in 2 weeks, things will be any different?

Because I cannot believe that this team will keep on losing. I just can't. They look so poor right now but I just cant see it continuing. I'm grasping at straws here but until its over I just can't give up.

My last bit of hope is that this bye week + Andy's wrath will fix this.

Will Peterson will be our new leader.

Hail Peterson!

I really hope that you are right Phreak. Hope is looking pretty thin right now around Phildelphia.

So, if the Eagles finish, say, 6-10, what happens?

Is Reid gone?

Is Johnson gone?

Is Morningwhig/wheg/whatever the heck it is gone?

Is Heckert gone?

Or will they let go of the insignificant db coach and call it a day?

Also, what's the worse sign:  That the Eagles are playing with so little intensity, or that it's rubbed off on me and I'm just not caring that much?

Heck - three losses in a row, and nothing's broken.

WR drafted in the first or second round along with a lineman.

The man. The myth. The legend.

The BIGSTUD

A few things:

1. People are going to blame this loss on the final drive with McNabb. it had ZEROOOO to do with this game. ZERO. This loss was 90% on Andy and JJ. The 10% on the players for lack of fire, you can't let them completely off the hook.

2. Darwin Walker has been  TOTAL BUM since the Dallas game. Getting moved off the ball like he is Pinkston's weight.

3. How can this team go into a game where they KNOW a one-dimensional Jags team will only win if they can run the ball and they STILL let them. I might be starting to lean toward firing JJ. The offense was disgusting, but.... the defense man. It was bad too. You let a one-dimensional team beat you up and down the farging field.

Something needs to happen. McNabb is supposed to be in his 'prime', so these are the years where they need to make their run.

However, McNabb being Mr. Inconsistent didn't have a stellar game today either.

The WR's, though, are absolutely crappy right now. Reggie Brown needs to be taken out back and beaten. The kid cannot be consistent. No way can he ever emerge as a #1.

i am really starting to think that mcnabb is not all that bright.

Like I said... I want to believe that too.  But this team at this point seems to care so little about the way things are going, I can't say with any kind of certainty that they'll jsut wake up.

I hate to say it, Phreak, but I'll believe it when I see it.

And GF, you're unfortunately probably right.  For AR it will be business as usual.  And the league has caught up to his tricks.  Business as usual won't cut it.
