Well right now 149 because my bowels and water weight were thoroughly emptied by a virus on Sunday, but the past month or so I've been between 153-155 depending on the point in the day.

At that weight you should eat everything in sight. Try to fit 300 grams of protein in your diet if at all possible. They sell cheap protein supplements (like $10-15 for a months worth) on the internet. I know a lot of beginners that have gained quick mass by using Riptoe's program: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=712752

I know zanshin does martial arts but does anyone have any experience with boxing? During my hiatus I spent two months with a trainer. I only had one sparring session (with head gear), scored 1 lucky knock down but I was clearly overmatched. I herniated a disk in my lower back and haven't boxed since, but I'm eager to give it another try. It beats anger farging a chick in terms of taking out your aggression.

It's OK that you're out and proud.  We accept all kinds here, apparently.

I was 240 in August, I'm down to 190 right now. Been at this weight for a little while, the last 10 lbs. are a bitch to get off. I did cardio, weights, and watched what I ate to shed the weight. The problem I'm having now is I want to gain muscle and lose fat which is a tricky feat.

Anything as far as boxing, mma, etc.. is always a good way to work out and take out aggression.  I take Krav Maga, though I haven't been able to do it nearly as much as I would like since going back to school.

I saw that Rippetoes program dalt, but I've been using the a  5x5 workout and I've seen gains every workout so far which is exciting.

I've also gained like 5 pounds since I've started eating like crazy and I drink 3 Whey protein shakes a day now so my calorie intake every day is probably somewhere between 3000-3500 which seems like a good number.

Keep that up, and I'm not sure but I think you said you're in your late teens early 20's which is the best age to start lifting because you have unreal levels of testosterone and growth hormone and should be able to build a foundation that lasts your whole life.

I'm down to 185 and back into a size 34 pants, at my largest I was in the 40 range which is sad but funny now that I think about it. I'm having some bad back problems as of late but that's nothing a darvocet can't fix.

I hit the rowing machine this morning in an attempt to do some cardio that didn't destroy my joints. Let's just say I have a new nemesis. That shtein kicked my ass.

I used to have a rowing machine growing up, that thing was awesome.

I hadn't thought about using the rowing machine in years, but remembered that it was always a sonofabitch. Works legs, arms, back and gets the heart racing. I did ten minutes and was sore everywhere. I see a lot of old people on it too. I wonder why. Probably because their knees are like mine. Beat.
