Hahahaha. Excerising with a video game. What the farg is wrong with humanity?

about a $1,000,000,000 in revenue in under 12 months...where has the world turned?

Due to sickness/finals/holidays/excuses I haven't worked out since mid Dec. I'm getting back on the horse this week with cardio but will try to mix some weights in here and there.

I used to really like working the heavy bag.  Speed bag is a lot of fun, too.  If you're going to do one, it feels great to incorporate the other.

I need to look up proper taping techniques for hands. Don't need to break anything

Might be better off with a pair of gloves, unless you're really worried about your wrists.

mussa

i was thinking bag gloves or mma gloves...plus tape. i read its a good idea to tape for protection

Taping just takes too much time, I think.  I sort of put that into the category of things that I realize would be good for me, yet still don't do.  It's something of a massive list.

Diomedes

you need tape to keep from rolling your wrist.  once you learn how to do it you'll be taping up pretty quickly.  you don't need gloves for hitting the heavy bag, but if you want a better workout you should wear those too simply for the weight

I can't believe I'm posting in this woman thread..does it make my butt look big??

mussa buy some cheap gloves, taping is a royal pain in the ass and doesn't work as well.

I'll never hit the heavy bag again without having my wrists taped. I farged my left one up once. Wasn't broke according to the x-rays, but it shore as shtein felt like it. Hurt for two farging weeks.

Mussa, this guy gives a pretty good example how to do it, I know it's a pain in the ass, but if you want to really cut loose it's a priority.

Some only wrap twice around the wrist starting out and wrap more around the knuckles, I like this guy who does it four times starting out. Once you get the general idea you can pretty much go with what you think feels best.

Zanshin

I guess it depends on your wrists.  I worked the bag for years and never had a problem without the tape.

Diomedes

well then you are either some kind of titanium tendoned motherfarger

or you're a little man who punches like a girl

I'll let you be the judge.  But I have a pretty good sense about which way you're leaning.

For what it's worth...I don't care whether anyone uses tape or not.  I hit the bag pretty regularly using decent gloves and didn't have a problem.  I have pretty strong hands/wrists from training in martial arts since I was a kid, so that could have something to do with it.  I really don't know.  Maybe he should just try it with and without the tape to see what works for him.

Diomedes

I'll side with titanium and please don't hurt me.

Hurt you?  I'm counting on you for a reference when I finally decide to go dig ditches for a living.
