I remember that it used to occasionally smell good when driving past.  Probably the last good smell for 30 miles.

A few years ago I was shteinfaced coming home from a wedding in South Jersey. Get up to the toll booth and I have no money. Knowing I was completely hammered the old guy in the booth says "just go", saving me from a DUI. For that reason I'm not upset.

the whole pay to drive is a crime to begin with IMO. we already pay taxes for roads but hey, let's create new a state authority and make me people pay tolls to finance it.
