that really was a well written article.  and it's coming from gq of all places.  i don't know if they have a history of producing quality articles like that as i don't think i've ever read a single issue, but if all of their articles rival that one in quality then i might have to pick up a copy. 

todd, you should email the reporter with an application to be his shadow.  you could learn more about serious writing and reporting following him around for 6 weeks than you'd learn in 6 years in brownsville freaking texas.
