Yeah, I don't understand that. They usually are pretty quick to name the PS the day after the final cuts. Maybe their sifting through all of the cuts and taking a look at some guys, particularly RS who could help.

Spads mentioned that there doesn't appear to be any waiver activity, so maybe it's something else holding it up.

Waiver madness: The waiver wire was crazy Sunday. Teams put in 39 claims and 31 players were awarded to 12 teams. The Packers were the most active. They put in eight waiver claims and ended up with three rookies -- guard Tony Palmer, safety Charlie Peprah and cornerback Jarrett Bush. Cornerback Matt Ware was one of the most popular players. The Cardinals, Falcons and Bengals put in waiver claims on him, and he was awarded to the Cardinals. The Saints, Texans and Titans revamped the bottoms of their rosters. The Saints were awarded five waiver claims, the Texans and Titans each had four claims. The Panthers hopes of getting back all of their cuts failed when they lost four players to waiver claims to other teams.

Hey everybody, I'm J.R's sister. At first we were very upset with the Eagles, but J.R did get hurt last season. That gave the opportunity for Sean to get signed last season. Bottom line , they had four Safty's, its a numbers game. The Eagles wanted J.R to wait two weeks and see what happened.
We couldnt wait, so now he signed a one year contract with the St. Louis Rams, I think that he will have a great opportunity there, there starting safety has only been there two years, and there second string is 29 years old, so we really thing it was a great carrear move. The Washington taterskins also took interest, but St. Louis Rams had a better offer. Overal we love the Eagles, and they made it possible for my brother to get out there. We thank everyone for there support, maybe one day he will be back.....

Somehow, someway he got this from JR Reed's "sister". Don't know how true it is or if it's true at all, but apparently he's going to STL after turning down an offer from Washington. And if it is true I am glad he didn't go to Washington.

Somehow, someway he got this from JR Reed's "sister". Don't know how true it is or if it's true at all, but apparently he's going to STL after turning down an offer from Washington. And if it is true I am glad he didn't go to Washington.

Reed was the one guy I watched specifically all preseason and was pulling for. I'm sorry to see him go, but he did seem to be a step behind most times, though his return from nerve damage was extraordinary.

If we get one thing from this, it's the joy that the taterskins lost him to a team like the Rams.
