Honey Boo Boo costs about $8 per episode and every cable/dish subscriber in the country gets whatever channel it comes on.

HBO has a limited number of viewers to begin with since you have to pay extra for it, but on top of that the budget for 1 episode of Boardwalk or GOT or whatever is probably more than what most reality shows spend on an entire season.

I think last year it came out that one episode of GOT costs $6 million to make.

it really has been bad for a long time.....i get it when verizon puts it on for 9 bucks a month as maher and their documentaries are worth that...but as a whole their tv shows have been pretty hideous for a while now

Yeah I had it for Boardwalk only...the movies blow. I mean they don't play anything worth a shtein at all.

Starz is better.

I can't get on the GOT train...that's not my style. I tried to watch but it doesn't appeal to me.

no idea how much it costs but hbogo makes it worth it...rewatching the sopranos now. granted i dont pay for it.

hbo is unveiling a bunch of new stuff this year...figure itll be more main stream. crime dramas, apocalypse drama, rich person broad comedy. first up is true detective and the reviews are off the charts.

havas is a little tv brat but im serious their sunday nights could be legendary in these next 2 months. im pumped for the gay show, too.

I guess Agents of SHIELD hasn't been cancelled yet, since one of their three viewers is having a fit that they stole video game concept art to use in one of their episodes. No link because no one should care.

I saw the pilot before I saw the Avengers movie and didn't realize that the show picks up at some point after the movie. After seeing the movie and realizing the lead character in the show (Agent Colston) was also in the movie, I gave the show another try to see if that made it any better, but it didn't.  It's just a poorly done show all around that was hoping to capitalize off of the movie's success.

i just finished sons of anarchy. it was not a great show but its entertaining enough and lasted me a few solid months. now i need a new show. suggestions please. preferably a drama with an ongoing storyline.

Scooby-Doo? They have ghosts, monsters, and evil villains. The have guest appearances...and you may even see the harlem globe trotters. You have lots of implied sexual situations between the good looking dude and chick.  You have a guy and a dog on weed. And an ugly chick with glasses that's just asking for it in the butt.

great first episode of true detective

its more about woody and mack-con-o-hay than the investigation itself. really interesting way to tell the story...mack-con-o-hay lived up to the hype, pot smoking liberal ass woody also very good.

Mcconaughey's character was odd. The tone of the show is darker than I expected. Overall I liked it and will tune in again. The satanic slant and back story were intriguing.

Might try Shameless since nobody will shut the farg up about it.
