She's annoying, though her storyline in book 3 is alright.  Don't want to comment too much but my favorite character is a Lannister (and not Tyrion).

I like Dorne more than anything that has to do with the Greyjoys but I prefer focusing on the Lannisters/Starks.

It's hard to imagine anyone not named Tyrion being likable haha, but I have been told that Jaime is much more likable going forward.

I know in the one featurette for Season 3, they show him bringing a sword up against Brienne, which I have wanted to see happen. That'll be a good fight.

Edit-GF anyway we can get a spoiler feature on this forum that blacks out the text? I hate doing the mini-text.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Jaime becomes a POV character in book 3 and probably isn't what most people expect.

Does GoT warrant it's own thread?

I did not realize we had so many readers/watchers.

I've seen only the first episode of the first season.

Probably. Feel free to do the honors.

I started to read the first book, then put it down because I like watching it better. Did the same with the 3rd book but am just going to hold out. I like the surprise aspect and unlike the Walking Dead I hear GOT doesn't deviate from the book much. The second to last episode of last season was one of the best hours of television history. I hear there are 4 or 5 holy shtein moments in season 3.

Does anyone still watch Touch?  Thought season 1 was pretty good but I feel like I'm watching season 2 more out of just wanting to see where things go rather than because the show is actually good.

Book 3 is being turned into 2 seasons so some will occur in season 4 but yes avoid comments in any video etc.  This season will have some crazy things happen and yes the show has been faithful to the books, especially with the major issues.

That GOT thread was a bad idea, I only read a few posts before I realized I was going to farg myself by reading a spoiler.

Been watching this show called Bar Rescue. It's an awful reality show like Kitchen Nightmares where the host goes around saving bars but it's a great time waster.

I saw that show one time and it was the pirate bar episode. shtein is so stupid. You been there? Even dumber than it looked?

i had actually heard about it long before that show even existed and people would tell me you gotta go once to to experience it....it was unbelievably awful...

i actually go to the city its in quite a bit so when i was down there sometime after the episode aired i poked my head in to see if they really changed back to the pirate bar....they certainly did....they ripped out every last thing he did...the shape was still what he made it into but all the aesthic and equipmental  changes he made were GONE....including that awesome beer dispenser system he put in which cost 75,000 bucks

I didn't know the show existed before today. I dvr'd the marathon today after watching the first episode.

I went to Swanky Bubbles on a date once circa 2006. The food was only okay and she wouldn't put out.
