Don Ho

shtein.  That is a tough one.  You have to be a child of the 70's to remember all the shtein that went down in Belfast.

i knew it was either dublin or belfast

because of peace walls...i figured that was some kind of clue to the name of the city. dublin seems too straight forward. belfast seemed like it could named after something. so i went belfast.

right or wrong im smarter than some brainiac high school kids SUCK IT
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Susquehanna Birder

With the wife coming from an Irish Catholic family, we hosted young kids from there a while back (when "the troubles" were a regular news item). Thankfully they've come a long way toward straightening that shtein out.

I guess it was a tough question for a lot of teenagers, but if they had any roots from there, they'd know it. Dummies shouldn't have gone all in, regardless.

Sgt PSN

Why did the kid with the lead wager everything instead of leaving himself $1?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

What was the last movie about this subject that this generation would have seen or relate to?  Last movie I recall was Patriot Games and The Crying Game from the early 90's.  Wasn't Daniel Day Lewis in a movie about the IRA in the 90's?

If the commercials were any indication of the show's quality, that's three episodes too many.

yes, small GoT fanboy here.  these next two seasons are from what's by faaaar the best book in the series.  hope they don't farg it up.

Jesus f'n Christ book four is dull.  Who gives a shtein about these f'n Ironmen or Dornish intrigue.  Bunch of goddamn talking, glacial plot advancement....dude needs an editor.

yep book 4 is by far the worst especially after following ASOS.  far too many tertiary characters.

Since I'm not reading ahead, I've been actually looking forward to when the Dornish would come into play. I'm assuming they will play some sort of important role in the final outcome of the story. I was hoping they'd help out The North somehow since they still have a grudge against the Lannisters, but I'm obviously way behind in the story and I know these next two seasons will be advancing the war a far way.

I gotta say that it seems just from the two books I've read and from that preview that he's setting up for Dany eventually getting the throne back, and I'm not too happy about that. She's pretty much my least favorite of the families besides the Lannisters. Though I wouldn't mind King Tyrion.
