Yes.  Avoid it.

That's good advice for most anything with Kelsey Grammer. I like him as an actor, but damn if he doesn't pick some awful parts.

I enjoyed The Newsroom.

Sepinwall said he kind of goes downhill but this first episode was pretty solid. I enjoyed Will's rant at Northwestern and all I could think about was how much he reminds me of Olbermann because of the prickish smarter than everyone in the room attitude.

for whatever reason sam waterson totally didnt work for me.

the critics saw the next 3, which is why the reviews were so lukewarm. maybe it gets better after that?

I watched the British series "Thorne" on Encore this afternoon.  It was really excellent.

The "Chase Utley Love Letter" episode of IASIP was on yesterday.  Is there a TV HOF?  Because that episode should be in it.  Pure gold.

My enjoyment of IASIP depends on how long I've gone without seeing it because the humor can become repetitive, but when I haven't seen it in a while some of the episodes are great.  The Waitress is Getting Married was on the other night.  Definitely a top3 IASIP for me.

I watch very little TV, and I'm sure this show was discussed at length, but I watched the first season of Breaking Bad on my flight this week...I bought seasons 2 and 3 last night, and hope to knock it all out this weekend. Solid show w some real quality acting. To those who watch, does it keep getting better after the first season?

Yes...it gets much better. Season 3 was the best imo
