Supposedly NBC gave Conan a take-it-or-leave-it with this 12-1 deal and will let him walk to ABC or FOX or whatever if he declines.  If that happens, Leno gets his full hour back...

it really has very little to do with conan...it mostly stems from local nbc 11 oclock newscasts being mauled because leno's lead in audience was so small...that trickled over to conan who had weak ratings and fell behind letterman

conan definitely doesnt fit the demographics of a 1130 late night show...hes definitely a more edgy type 1230-2 late night time slot guy but this is all the fault of lenos show being so hideous

Watched the first two episodes of True Blood last night. Terrible writing. Terrible acting. Fantastic concept. Tons of hot chicks. Tons of nudity, violence, sex and violent sex.

Winner.

its basically a vampire soap opera with nudity and its unwatchable dreck

i for one cannot wait till this vampire craze is over with

the craze never ends.  it'll be hot for another year or so....or at least until teenagers get over the twilight series.  until then, other studios will jump on the bandwagon and pump out as much vampire crap as they can.  then it'll die off for a few years.  then it'll come back. wash, rinse, repeat.

dont get the fascination with Twilight, its characters and think its corny as hell as well.

I think I stopped watching vampire movies after I saw The Lost Boys in 87

i'll put my money on the latter.  vampire/dracula movies and tv shows are produced every decade...in excess.

just look at the movies made from 1980 to now.  hell, look at the early/mid 90's with bram stoker's dracula, interview with the vampire and buffy the vampire slayer.  there's no way you don't remember that.  it probably didn't seem like a "craze" to you because you were part of the target audience.
