I didnt realize this upcoming season of the wire is the last 

yeah tv will never be the same again

me and my girl were talking about this last night as we watched the sopranos repeat on hbo...it hit both of us at how stagnant the sopranos has become over the past 2-3 seasons....that no matter which episode you watch you feel as tho youre seeing the same one...its just the same shtein over and over...

whereas the wires best season was it last one...no show has ever been as good as the wire period....but no show will ever be as good for as long...even if you dont like it as much as me and mds you have to marvel at how it never falls off and actually gets better with time


even the biggest sopranos fan ever would admit to the shows quality dropping over the last couple seasons

anyone know when season 4 comes out on dvd?  i don't have hbo at the moment so i have yet to see it but every wire fan i've talked to says it was a great one.

i just started watching the sopranos again from the beginning.  it really was a great show when it first started though.

to my knowledge a release date hasnt been announced for season 4...i dont know if its my favorite thats such a tough choice....but i think its the best season


sopranos was amazing in the first couple years...then like i said every episode seemed to turn into the same thing...even now its still great (for a tv show) its just not on another level....you feel you have to watch it now more so than you want to watch it...at this point its all about the alst episode and how it finishes...does anyone even care about episodes 1-7 this season

the wire season 4 should come out before season 5 premieres, typically tv shows do that.

the sopranos first two episodes to the new season have been getting some good reviews. so maybe theyll go out on top.

comcast just added A&E to its hi def lineup and it looks amazing...i guess becasue its using the newest hd technology and equipment but its the best hd picture ive seen

national geographic was also added

I'm pretty sure they had the games on HD on some inHD channel or something. That's pretty much all you need, unless you wanna see really clear shots of Steve Sabol and Rich Eisen.

Is it really? I thought about watching it, but considering Andy Richter has had about 4 of his own shows cancelled before the first season ended, I thought better of it.

It's a little off-beat, but it's still amusing. Maybe it's too different for Mr. and Mrs. America to keep it running, though.
