I might give it another try but something about it just isn't hooking me in.

the main dude becomes gm of the phillies, builds the team exclusively with .300 slap hitters who dont walk and have no power, he proceeds to lose 100 games per year but never admits hes wrong. dark ending.

stranger things i felt like the first 3 seasons were all the same. theres some monster and only these kids can save the world...nobody else cares enough evidently. havent cared enough to watch the 4th.

i know youre trolling but if you cant see the quality than i cant help you. the show may not be for you...i can recognize game of thrones is very good while not being for me....but the way its shot and the pacing is marvelous even if the story isnt hooking you. different strokes for different folks, some people just have poor taste and thats cool

Barry - only through season 1 but it's good enough that I'll finish the next few seasons. I'm glad the episodes are only 30 minutes. I know nothing about the original concept but the Barry character reminds me of the sniper with half a face from Boardwalk Empire. It borders on drama, action and some comedy.

Terminal List - figured the story out the first few episodes. Gets decent midway through the story then just meh. Pratt was fine I guess.

I don't think I made it through the second season of Barry, but I still go back sometimes and watch that 5 minute 50 50 with Cristobal scene if I feel the need for a laugh.

the boys is really funy...gf is a noted curmudgeon but who quits a show they like that quickly? hang in for herogasm at least.

i recently tore through THE BEAR on hulu. they cant make movies like this anymore so they become tv shows. really god damn good.

30 years late on this one and with all the dumb shtein I've watched not sure why I didn't give it a try before but I started watching the X-Files. I'm midway through season 1 and there's over 200 episodes so I have my work cut out for me.

I thought for sure the X-Files would be just another of the jerked around, one season sci-fi shows that FOX seemed like they were intentionally torpedoing throughout the 90s. Instead, it lasted long enough that the main characters were both replaced before they finally killed it.

The creature of the week storytelling probably wouldn't go over well with todays audiences who would just want to get to the main alien storyline and call anything else filler episodes. Show is really good so far.
