perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

First couple episodes of the 2nd half of the season were corny as hell, imo, but it's gotten back on track these last few episodes.  Definitely not the strongest they've put out, but enjoyable.  I don't like this new group living in the junk yard.  They seem like the Cousin Oliver of this show.  How the farg did they all forget how to talk in complete sentences?  That's something that would probably take a couple hundred years to happen, not 5.  They haven't been involved much in the last few episodes, which is probably why I've enjoyed it more.  For those who have read the comics....is it still a continuing story or has that series been concluded?  It's getting to a point in the show where it feels like Kirkman started running out of ideas about new characters and groups to introduce, which is how you end up with these mouth breathers living in a scrap yard who have somehow managed to erase a few thousand years worth of evolution in about half a decade.

Into The Badlands S2 premier tonight was pretty dope.  Fight scenes in this show are so good.

Legion makes my brain hurt.

There's also some channel called TVOne that I stumbled across a few days ago that during the day plays like 6 straight hours of Sanford & Son, Good Times, and The Jeffersons.

The Walking Dead used to do these bottle episodes awesomely, but now they use them way too much and the characters they focus on aren't strong enough to get their own episodes. Some of it sets up nicely, like Tara's bad character got a decent episode and that camp/their weapons are obviously going to come into play later...but Tara is not a character I want to spend an entire episode with.

Last week's episode with the Kingdom was excellent and the best ep of the 2nd half by far.

at this point, if negan isn't in the scene it's just whatever.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

Did you ever even watch it? Like as a person who was actually interested in it, or just so you could get some new source material to use to tell people how awful their taste is?

ice grillin you

i watched it until last year i think...maybe late the year before

it became preposterously bad in a relatively short period of time but for some reason i stayed with it way longer than i should have

it was bad back then...i cant even imagine how bad it is now if smeags doesnt even really like it

I don't know why I keep watching this show. I guess it's because there's nothing else on Sunday night and I like to wind down from the weekend and take my mind off of going to work the next day. I wasn't able to watch it last night, but I just finised watching it ondemand.

The trash people are all time bad for any television show ever. As for your comics question at this point it's Alexandria/Hilltop/the Kingdon...no trash people and no hidden womens camp with a stockpile of guns. It's important to note in the comics Negan never actually breaks Rick. I have no idea why they changed that for the TV show. Andrea is still alive, she's the sniper that is now Sasha's role. Sasha's not in the comics. I'm only read up until the Negan storyline. I was only able to read them because my old room mate used to buy them as soon as the new ones were released. From my understanding they're still releasing new issues.

i hate watched TWD until last year and am glad I don't bother with it anymore.

I did start binge watching homeland again after a long time off and this season seems to be really good. much less racist than in previous seasons as the americans are now the bad people.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

gotten significantly worse the last two episodes..its been a while since really anything has happened or the same damn things happen every week over and over with nothing new coming of it....if i see nicole kidman get abused and then get farged one more time im going to throw something at the screen

its still very good but its becoming all about who killed who whereas the first few eps were about the journey getting there...i find myself not really caring about any of the people anymore except reese witherspoons character shes amazing in it and i honestly hope she isnt the one who gets killed...other than her tho all i really need to see the rest of the way is whodunit and who got got

I'm 4 episodes in on Iron Fist.  So far I'd say it's the weakest of the Marvel series on Netflix.  By a lot.  The story telling isn't very good and neither is the acting, but that's at least partially due to some weak material to work with.  But the most disappointing thing so far (and I don't see this as being something that will improve further into the series) is how poorly choreographed, executed, and shot the fight scenes are.  These people look like they've seriously never thrown a single punch in their lives.

Obviously I'm going to finish the season, even if it gets worse - because I want to see when and how they connect it to the other series - but I don't have much hope that it improves significantly.  Very disappointing so far.

I got just as far and I agree 100%. it's slow developing, weak storyline that they are dragging on, yeah we get it, you're a rich kid who disappeared after a plane crash for 15yrs and now you're back.

Hell, that sounds like the stupid Arrow show my son subjects me to from time to time.

General_Failure

That's pretty much Arrow or Batman.
