didn't watch this weeks episode yet but its def gotten better. if I want great storylines and incredible acting ill watch mr robot or GOT. I watch TWD for one reason, the zombie killing business. 

also, I gave up on the leftovers, just not holding my interest.

Totally disagree.  Generally speaking, people care about characters more than they do the story itself, especially with this show which is all about survival. People catch mad feelings over characters. Don't get me wrong, I do too, but definitely on a much lower level.  And in the end, I'm more concerned about the story than I am the characters. Sometimes a major player has to die in order to advance the story. XXXXX was my favorite character though, and now he's (most likely) dead. I gotta say though that if he is actually dead, I love the irony in the way that he died.

good action and this season has had some amazing shots. some of the wide shots of the herd this week were cool as shtein.

Agreed. They've gone next level with that shtein.

Word on the street is that his character will still make appearances....whether it's in a flashback, as a zombie, or still alive remains to be seen.

yup...the acting is just atrocious and the writing is not much better...i honestly dont even care about the zombie killings...how many times can you see sausage links in ketchup and slupring munching sound effects...and the zombies arent remotely scary like in 28 days or even the movie that took place in the mall

i admittedly still watch it most weeks cause i never take it off my dvr but when i do watch it i FF thru much of it...im kind of interested to see where the overall story goes....but mostly i wanna see how it ends...as you would expect in a show about zombies the beggining was cool to see when it all started and the end could be good if the last season includes some flashback episodes to show more specifically how where and why the plague started and then how it ends....eveything in between has been dreck

I haven't read them yet (I think I'll wait until the show is over so that I don't come across any similarities or try to compare the 2 at the same time) but I've known for a while that Glenn gets got, but in the books I beleive it was much later in the story and in a much different way.

yeah glenn's deal is pretty much when I stopped reading because the tv series was going full bore and like you, I didnt want to be comparing the the two. pretty much did the same thing with harry potter.
