Started watching this show called "From". Season 1 is free on prime, season 2 is on mgm+ which I didn't know was a thing. I'll probably do the free trial deal to binge season 2.

If you're into horror at all give this show a try it's really good so far.

the idol is completely bonkers. the entire first episode is about johnny depp's daughter (who is the lead) getting revenged porned with a photo of cum on her face. the script is just insane. its like showgirls level bad and attempting similar saterization levels and failing miserably. at least showgirls was unintentionally campy.

im not sure how much longer i can hang in this...a fun bad movie is 2 hours, bad tv is forever...but man. this is epically bad.

Black mirror season 6 is out and it's on par with the other seasons. Whoever writes this show is demented

Hijack with Stringer Bell on AppleTV is pretty good.

Lincoln Lawyer s2 on Netflix has been decent. Not as good as the first season but they only released half of the season - five eps - with the remainder to come in August

yeah

the way it transitions at a furious pace between absolutely laugh out loud funny to crazy stressful is just beyond brilliant and they do it for like 50 minutes straight...the entire night seems to be done in one shot...i cant even imagine how long it took them to shoot that episode...from a directorial standpoint tv has never been done better...you largely only see that kind of shtein in movies

the show is outrageously good...i thought the richie episode was the best of S2 but the dinner one was superb

its one of the most *directed* shows on tv. chris storer is the rare tv director who writes (usually shows are run by writers who direct), its his show and he gets to do what he wants and man is he good. joanna calo wrote some of the best bojack horseman episodes and she is co-running the show with him. absolute power combo.

I finished it the other night. I wouldn't go that far but it got progressively better and better. I actually think the two eps after the dinner episode were the best of the season.
