I'm sad.

Goodbye, Billy Mac.

However, Hask Baskett has a little bit of potential. I know the Eagles visited with him a few times prior to the draft and even had him into Philly for a private visit.

We'll see what happens...

IGY, this is huge news. We're in the dead spot of the off-season...

If Gaffney wanting #10 was multiple page thread territory...this news is 10-page potential!

What street?

I'm sorry. I didn't really hear this on the street; I heard it through the grapevine.

I know Lewis stunk it up last year but what's the deal with all the Lewis hating?  He was thrown into an awkward situation imo.  It's bad enough when you have a young, inexperienced player shoved into the starting role because of injury but on top of that, there was the whole TO debacle.

I'm not campaigning for Lewis to start.  I think he's best suited at this point to be a back up.  But I think he's a very capable back up with a lot of upside to him.

LBIggle

yeah, i don't think their going to dump lewis just like that.

I was fine with him in 2004 because he was in the role that suited him - a #4 guy who makes the occasional big play and who busts it on special teams.

But last year he was exposed. And he was a guy who gave LITTLE effort on several passes that he should've caught but they turnedinto INTs, incompletions or drops by him. And once his boy TO was let go, he turned into a bitch. He stopped coming on Daily news Live even though he was paid to do so.

I was excited to see what he could do last year, but I don't want him back. Not unless his vadge is done ooozing and he's ready to fight for balls and make plays.

If you're going to pray, you could pray for a lot better than that.

With the addition of Bloom, Avant, Gaffney, McCants (getting re-signed) and now Baskett coming in, I am really starting to think that Pinky isn't coming along, or is doing so very, very slowly. I think Pinky may wind up not being able to play at all, and even if he does, I think the coaching staff doesn't feel he will be the old Pinky.

Quick... name 3 guys who have come back full speed the year after a ruptured achilles!

Last time I prayed for a WR, my prayers were answered. And we know what followed.

I pray for mediocrity these days.
