If Greg Lewis isn't axed we're going to hell in a Hank Baskett.

I'm shocked no one thought of that earlier  :-D :-D :-D

Quote from Peter King in his MMQB article:

. I think, Billy McMullen, the message is pretty simple. When you're traded for a rookie free agent, a kid who wasn't even drafted -- which Philadelphia did with Minnesota the other day -- it's clear that the Eagles think you're hopeless. And you've got a Minnesota training camp to prove them wrong.

Why does Spadaro insist that Greg Lewis is a lock to make this team?

If you figure that the first 3 WRs are Brown, Gaffney, and Pinkston, and Avant figures to make the team, what good does keeping Lewis, a player with an admittedly low ceiling, over someone like Baskett or McCants?

As of last year Greg Lewis was the fastest Eagle on the team...The fastest guy usually stays on the team IMO

I agree.  He must be one of those guys that can blaze without pads but his speed with pads or "game speed" is less than stellar.  I didn't see him open deep once last year.  That's saying something.

not only that but if he really was that fast doesnt he get drafted somewhere?
