I was pretty much aware of that. Blending is all about that kind of thing, but JW has decent quality control, so it's all good.

I forgot to mention my everyday stuff:

I've always been partial to the Montecristo line of smokes.

Although of late I find that I'm getting a bit tired of milder cigars and I've started smoking some of the full strength variety.

TTT Mini-Belicosos are my cigar of choice at the moment and right now I have some Camacho Monarcas resting in the humidor.  I'm looking forward to lighting up one of the Camachos.  I hear they pack a good punch.

If you guys are interested you should try web sites like Cigar Bid or Cigar Auctioneer.

If you hit it just right you can get some outstanding bargains.  For example I won a 3 pack of the above mentioned TTT's for only $13 (those smokes usually retail for @ $8-$9 each)

Also, if anyone is interested I can post some links to the Altadis web page where they offer up some of their cigars (Maria Guerrero, Gispert, and RyJ) in sample packs at below bargain prices.

One thing to be aware of about Johnnie Walker, they own several of the single malt distillers and others sell their extra whiskey to them.

on thing to be aware of for beginner scotch drinkers.

Drink enough of it, and it's all whishey.

There is a great place in Lancaster, PA, right near the outlets called Ray's Tobacco Cafe.  They have a great selection in cigars, gourmet coffee's and a really nice smoking lounge.  I just took a drive over there and found some cigars Ive been dying to try.

I got a Padron Anniversary Series 1964 Maduro for 17 a stick.  Its a beautiful boxed pressed cigar.  Rated in the upper mid to upper 90's.  Ive been told this is better than any Cuban.  Can't wait to smoke it.

I also got 2 Camacho Coyola's. A new full-bodied cigar from Camacho.  An Ashton Heritage Puro Sol and a Romeo Y Julieta Aniversaro Maduro.  :drool

Right next door is a cool store called Sam's Steins, which has alot of cool beer steins, signs, mirrors and anything else a beer logo has ever been put on.  Def. check them both out if you are ever in the outlets area.  :yay

Just wanted to bump this thread up with a new interest in Port wine. Anyone else try it with a cigar or solo? Ive dabbled in a few different varieties after reading about it so much in cigar magazines.  It pretty potent compared to normal wine, but not nearly the punch you get from scotch. I've tried a cheapy bottle, which seems to be bitier than the 10yr aged Tawny's I like. Alot smoother.

A great new cigar I tried recently is the Excalibur from Hoya De Monterrey. A classic in the heavy bodied cigars, very spicey, couldn't get enough of this smoke. There are a number of different Excaliburs, I couldn't find a pic of the one I had.

Dont know much about cigars, but I do enjoy them.  I am a single Malt fan.  I picked up a new one tonight... 10 year Talisker from Skye.   Very potent.  Good stuff so far.

Yea Murp turned me onto Talisker, prob best Ive tried to date with scotch. They were selling a litre of Talisker for 50 bucks at the duty free shop coming back from canada. I kicked myself later for not buying it at such a cheap price.

Ahh...reading this thread reminds me of my poor college days and:

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.
