I haven't ventured into the scotchs yet...I'm sure in due time I will.

Cigars...I like cigars every once in a while...but I don't smoke them right. I always have a buildup of aftersmoke shtein and I'm always looking to spit it out. (Bring on all of the witty, unexpected homo cracks)......it feels as though I'm using chewing tabacco. Are you supposed to swallow that shtein? I don't inhale...I just let the smoke linger and then let it out. Am I doing it correctly?

Dewer's and Scoreseby's are cheap and common scotches.

There was no way for me to write that and not make it sound gay.  :boom

dewers ive heard of

the fact that you even have to ask all those retarded questions hb is why i think the whole cigar thing is gay....i lump it in with the same trendy overanalyzation of things like microbrews and wines

i've had cigars and smoked tobacco from a pipe, but i had a hard time dealing with the whole "don't inhale" thing.  I can appreciate it, but can't stand when people smoke pipes in bars because it's so damn overpowering and pungent.

As for scotch, i'm not a huge fan.  I'll do a shot of Makers Mark anyday, but once tried scotch on the rocks and it was painful getting through.

makers mark is scotch?...did not know that

someone left a bottle of it at my house a few weeks ago

The problem is cheap and common scotch tastes like something you'd strip paint with.  And, sorry, Mussa, but what you have pictured is swill.  You have to spend at least $50, more like 70-80, to get anything drinkable.  And as much as I like scotch (Oban and  Lagavulin are my favorites), I buy it rarely due to the price and the fact that I drink it sparingly, and it skunks after you open it.
Anyone but Reid.

Makers Mark is most definitely whiskey.  I was just saying i enjoy a shot of that, but don't care for scotch.

mussa

As I mentioned, im not too educated on scotch i just started. especially fine scotch. these are the relatively cheap one's i can afford(swill if you will) and still go great with a cigar.  now i will spend 20$ on one cigar, but 100 and up per bottle is rare.

They have King Louis something something scotch or cognac, at this local bar. $140 a glass. Im on that someday.
