The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Don Ho

The three stooges and Eskin shots are classic.

Tempted to use the stooge shot as my screen saver.

Perhaps pocketchange we can believe in would have worked better.

ice grillin you

some really interesting talk on wip about the eagles disconnect with well with just about everyone and everything...including their own players and history

glen macnow counted all the former players that are employed by each of four teams in the city...this includes announcers coaches front office janitors vendors ect...

flyers - 15
phillies - 15
sixers - 7
eagles - 4

pretty staggering when you take into account that football rosters are almost as big as nba nhl and mlb rosters combined

gargano then brought up the throwback jerseys and how banner/lurie absolutely refuse to acknowledge that the franchise existed before them so no chance they are gonna bring back a lot of actual people
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Don Ho

Still my favorite.  I'd love to see one game in these throwbacks.  shtein, if they can do it in those god awful colors from last year against Detroit why not this?

Granted that he is a loon, but they did alienate Chuck Bednarik.. one of the most recognizable Eagles of all time.

I think I figured out what it is with all the 1 year contract stuff.

If 2010 goes uncapped, players will need 6 years to become an unrestricted FA instead of 4. Both Weaver and Sean Jones came into the league in '05. That means they would revert back to RFA status at the end of 2009 eventhough they are unrestricted now, and they Eagles could still do whatever they want.

If the tender figures are the same next year Weaver could get a second level tender and have to take a small paycut, and Sean Jones could get a 1st level tender (1st and 3rd round compensation) and also have to take a small pay cut. In any case, the Eagles will have full control.

Joe Bananners and the Jewish Mafia will be able to make an offer the players can't refuse.

Are you serious?  That's evil genius type of stuff right there.

Now, I wonder if the agents play stupid next off-season.
