I wonder how long Rowand will be out.

Sucks for him, but the production out of CF should improve now.

Hopefully Gillick can pick up a RH outfielder.

Per Paul Hagan in the Daily News, Rowand broke his ankle and will be out for 5 weeks.

He stepped in a hole, his legs collided with Chase, and he rolled over his ankles when he landed.  3 possible spots where it could have happened...

There is a difference between baseball fundamentals and common sense.  Utley had the ball in his glove for a good three steps before they collided meaning 9/10 times Rowand does not make that catch.

This isn't such a bad thing. Victorino/Burrell/Dellucci is probably our best OF alignment.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Agree.  Frankly, I'd like to see them re-sign Dellucci.  But they won't.

My problem is that they are really hurting for bench.  Roberson is really just a runner/fielder.  Are they actually going to bring Bourn back up?  Yikes.

Rome

The Phillies are cursed.

There's simply no two ways about it.

Well we should be be better off as long as we never have to use a pinch hitter.

Rome

Michael Bourn has played pretty well for SWB, FF.

He's hitting .283 at the moment with 15 stolen bases, 7 triples, etc.  They could do worse.

That's what Randy Wolf's for.  Can we trade the Cards for Jason Marquis also?  Is Eric Milton available?!??!?!??!!?

theres nothing good and everything bad about having pat burrell in your lineup on a daily basis
