he has great range, better than the Michaels/Lofton combo last year.

i dont think he does...i think it's about the same. besides, part of my point was that his extended range is irrelevant when you play 81 games at CBP

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

SunMo

i would disagree with that, CBP is a small park overall, but CF has a some room out there.  especially left-center where it angles back a little bit
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

parks with deep centers (like houston) dont need rangy outfielders...parks with big power alleys do (yankee stadium)

about four balls a year are going to be hit to deep straight away center field and arent going to be caught no matter whos back there...its the power alleys where most balls go and if you have a lot of room in them (which the bank doesnt) you need someone that can run them down
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

i went to that shteinfest last night. weep for my poor decision making skills.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

at least you got the jr beanie hat...wasnt that last night?

I understand the point, but using Houston as an example is bad. The LF and RF dont need to cover any ground, but the CF needs to cover tons, especially since the LF and RF arent very good fielders.

plus, the CF has to run up that gay hill in the outfield too

I like mine, fits my head nicely. Three things I don't like about it are the colors remind me of the NY Giants, there's a McDonalds logo on the back, there's no Phillies logo anywhere to be found. Where were your seats at? I had some Tony Lukes lastnight that was out of this world good.

MDS

i was in 303 (by the way the seats suck, you cant see the plate that well and miss all the action in rf and rfc). i got dragged with my friend and his christian group. no they arent the bad kind of christian group, otherwise i wouldve killed myself.

I can't understand how anyone really follows the Phils anymore. I grew up watching them, cheering for them, and hoping next season will be different, an improvement somehow. After twenty years, I stopped. Now, if I am flipping through the channels, and stumble on a game, I might flip back and forth a couple times....but overall, I am completely disgusted with the "product" they put out their day after day. Is it because there are no other sports to follow at the moment? I just don't get it.
