Matt's titanically awesome post has left me confused.  I used to be sure there's no God, but after reading that, I'm having serious doubts.

Somebody hug me.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

BBQ, water ice, potato salad and a mess of beer and vodka with explosives later on. Great day.

I got a used gas grill for free from a client recently.  It's a simple two rail Weber, not very big at all.  But it's far more convenient than a charcoal grill, which is all we've ever had before.

We're going to make dinner on that thing tonight.  Maybe burn a flag.  So glad Paul Revere warned the British that they weren't going to take our arms away by ringing them bells back on July 4th 1776.

cause it doesnt....unless apparently if you are MA

when bens chilli bowl is your "neighborhood" food you are in trouble

hipsters serving sushi doesnt count

DC has amazing food. i love you like a gay brother but but come on. i live in the middle of the city and it takes me an hour to get to your house on the train. bens is a bit overrated but i'll go 5 minutes oyt of my way to get a chili dog just for the scene. about the same time it would take you to walk to medieval times. BAM. (MA)

ethnic food is actually one of the best things about DC and you will not find a single person that lives here that will disagree with you.

show me little italy in dc....or greektown...or any traditional ethnic neighborhood...mt pleasant is the only remotely close place and thats been gentrified to hell by hipsters...carmines doesnt count...food network spike mendolhsons opening a pizza restaurant doesnt count...and hipsters making sushi doesnt count

again dc is white transients like you or its blacks in southeast....thats it thats the list....and it has to be that way or MA wont come and visit....clean city....nice city with cool museums....but its also a souless city with terrible food...all cities have their good and bad...dc's bad is it has no heart
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

so my phone has been acting up more than usual lately. My sister asked me about my court appearance Thursday with Baby's Momma (I was about 10 beers deep at the time). I went off on a tangent, look at my phone and I pocket called her. She called and left me a nasty message.

Kima: You just called the mother of your children a funhole
Mcnulty: No I did not
