also, i had a conversation today about that whole miner rescue the other day. there were people tearing up and shtein in the kitchen and i realized the only reason i watched is on the off chance that the rope broke or something and the canister went crashing down into middle earth. i mean i'm glad no one got hurt but everyone needs to stop pretending flawless rescue efforts are not boring.

I'm happy to say that I didn't watch one second of the rescue coverage. Seriously, I can't imagine something more boring than watching TV coverage of a hole in the ground, waiting for a canister to appear and some dude to step out. Big whoop.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I didn't watch any of it, either. But the story about the one guy's wife and mistress waiting for him outside of the hole seemed like it might have some appeal. I'm not sure how that resolved (or if it did).

The mistress was ass ugly.  You're thinking Salma Hayek is waiting there and you get Susan Boyle instead.  The wife didn't show up....
