That 272-40 jaunt is part of my regular going-to-the-shore route. There's a bit of stop and go on 40, but it's not too bad outside of quitting time. And I'm really glad that I don't have to endure that I-95 nonsense.

i made it home in 47 minutes

It took us about 3.5 hours to get back to north jersey..then Feva had another 1.5 hours before he got back.

Some of the worst traffic ever coming home from a game - and there wasnt even a great accident at the end to make it all better.

SD

I was home in 30 minutes. They finally opened that middle gate to let traffic out instead of just letting people cram their way through the two gates they charge you $25 to park.

SunMo

that gate is always open, i take that out.

Sus put me on to this a few years ago...but at the u-turn for 95, everybody crams in the left lane but they don't know that the three most left handed lanes all go into that turn, so i ride the rightmost one to glory everytime.  then i crank it over after the u-turn, never had a problem.

QuoteMost of the black starters' that introduced themselves for tonight's game sounded SCARED and glib, even unconfident!

Those are supposed to be the "alpha-males?" In contrast, the White starters' sounded like MEN.

i like it over there
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I had some douche honk at me yesterday. I was actually pretty safe about it, but I think he wanted to go from the far left lane to the second lane in the u-turn spot. I got the drop on him, and all he could do was honk and wave his arms.

I honestly don't know why anyone would put themselves through it. That's one of the easiest tolls to get around. And it doesn't take any more time really to do it. I worked Ravens games for 2 years and we didn't go through that toll once.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

That was my first play, the right lane and round is always money...but line 1 was crammed to the other side of the WFC. There was an accident right outside the gate and I still made good time. So I was going to try the one near the Spectrum when I saw that one opened. I only hit 3 or 4 games a year up and that's only opened half the time. Maybe they open it the other times but I'm either not driving and don't care or too drunk and don't notice it.

I just stopped at the worlds largest ball of twine in Cawker City, KS.

I just saw that Tremors was on TV, and am pissed that I missed the first hour of it.
