I guess I'm lucky, my neigborhood has been quiet.

Rome

The Mrs. and I were having this same conversation yesterday.  We have fireworks stores that had lines literally out the door in the days leading up to the 4th.  My question is why?   Why would someone spend hundreds of dollars on shtein that pales in comparison to what you can see for free if you just wait a few hours?

what the hell is it with fireworks that people just can't restrain themselves from setting them off literally all night long on July fourth?  motherfargers, I hope you all lose fingers and eyes, you baby waking sons of whores

I am SOOOOOOO with you on this.

this surely doesn't answer your question Rome, but I wonder:  how many highly educated well paid people spend money on fireworks?  i may be mistaken, but the market for those things strikes me as low working class, not much above high school, etc.

I love you PG, but can we stop using "so" to mean "very."  It's soooo dumb sounding.

That doesn't mean you have to talk and write like a valley girl, does it?

The worst:  every day I hear radio hosts, tv interviewers, waiters, etc:   "thank you so much...."  UGH.  FACE.  PUNCH>

Incorrect:  "I hate those fire works so much"
Correct:   "I hate those fire works so much that it makes me scream"

Incorrect:  "thank you so much for the awesome birthday present"
Correct:  "thank you very much for the awesome birthday present"

I like all the tents you see by the malls and stores selling fireworks for the two, three weeks up to the 4th. Big money in that stuff.

Well with what those places charge for the things you have to be well paid.

Last 4th I went with my buddy so he could get sparklers and shtein for his kids. They have shtein that resemble what Abrams tanks shoot and they want well over a hundred bucks.

They sell combo packs and they're a hundred or so; I saw one that was $600.

it's not hillbillies buying shtein at the stores i was referring to earlier.  those places are unbelievably expensive but they do carry fireworks you can't buy in a tent by the side of the road.  the richie riches are the ones who go there and i know people who live on the intracoastal waterway (that's the bay here) who spend thousands on fireworks for july 4th.

they do it to show off for their friends and like i said i don't get it at all.  it literally is the biggest waste of money i've ever heard of.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

jesus christ, complaining about fireworks now?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

You think that's bad....what about all these people I saw at the mall breathing air. FOR FREE!

Can you believe that shtein? The audacity of these people. Some of them were even taking deep breaths. There were fast breathers, slow breathers...some were even burping & farting that shtein back out...like I'm supposed to farging walk around all thankful that my 'fart air' order was ready for me to suck up into my lungs...so I could then lick my finger tips...wipe my nostrils and lick up any fart residue that didn't make it into my broncii. farg them!

farg everyone. I'm going underwater where air is appreciated...and the shtein is definitely not free. iceholes!
