smart call on the locks thing.....especially if you had your home address saved in your gps and titled it "home."

i got a gps for x-mas and when i was loading some addresses in it i labeled my home address as "work" just incase my car gets jacked and the thief decides he isn't quite done ripping me off yet.

I do have it in there, but I named it work as well.

But all of the info in my glove box (insurance, registration) have my home address. And I had a 401K form in there that I believe had my SSN on it. It was in my laptop bag. So I placed a fraud alert on my SSN via the three credit bureaus this morning, just in case.

my vehicle registration and plates are all still from pa.  i use my mom's address as my "permanent" address for registration, voting and income tax purposes.  so i'm not too worried about someone stealing my ride and then driving 3000 miles to my mom's house.  and i carry my insurance card in my wallet.

christ dude, next time just leave your atm card taped to the steering wheel with the pin code written on the back.   ;)

Yeah you might want to look into changing a lot more than locks. If there was any sensitive info on your laptop, then you could be in for more headaches.

Jew Gold...

So my farging dog has turned into a complete icehole over the past week.  He chewed up boxes that we have set for moving, and now i just walked in after my anniversary dinner, and he chewed apart my laptop cord for my work computer.  I want to stab him in the spine.

good thing he doesn't have to suffer through your bad moods, eh?

since you asked for advice, I suggest you rape and kill him in front of a human witness, preferably family.  that will teach him.

I thought about it, but like one of my customers said..."is there really any good neighborhoods anymore?"

Out in Katy, in a white bread neighborhood, some dudes walked up to a lady's house and played like Jehova's...when she answered the door, they kicked it in and tied her up and then backed their truck into her garage and spent two hours cleaning the whole place out.

Sarge & mussa...

Luckily since the laptop was new I didn't really have anything sensitive on there. There is no way they could log into my e-mail or work database because my passwords are nowhere to be found. Personal stuff wise, I only had a few sites bookmarked with the sign on stuff saved and it was all Phils and Eagles sites. So maybe they will post here on CF....

I don't carry a wallet and I leave all CC's except for my expense card, drivers license and personal debit card at home.
