If you post in response to something someone else posted and your post ends up being the first post on a new page, you should have the decency to edit your post so it includes the post that you are quoting and I don't have to waste my time wondering what you are talking about and then going back to the previous page to find out and then coming back to the current page and quoting you so I can add my additional commentary to, or argue against,  your post.
