I have found that in any institution the best folk, the ones who know and matter the most, are the janitors, receptionists, facilities workers (NOT management), etc.  These people know everything.  They know who's farging you over professionally, who's farging who sexually, who's showing up on the verge of DTs each morning, who's bulimic, who's getting fired, who doesn't wash their hands in the bathroom, etc. 

All the important shtein for surviving in an organization.

In my line of work, it's necessary to keep things as simple as possible.  There's virtually no difference between leading a group of 20 year old Marines and teaching kindergarten.

I pretty much do the same as Yeti. If its a dude...who's young enough to at least move somewhat fast, im not waiting for them to get there, i'll just give the door a good shove...if he catchs it, cool, if not farg the lazy basterd. if its a geezer, then yea, i'l help him out. fat dudes don't get any special treatment, i'll shove them the door and if their fat arse don't get it, too bad. they got enough weight to open anything.

women i'll wait for them if they are loaded with kids or look busy. otherwise if they ain't close enough, im not waiting like some pervert for them to get there. thats just akward. not like im approaching doors, looking around for approaching women. jesus thats sad
