Anyone heard about that Louisville cheerleader who had her camera stolen at a party and then the pics showed up on the internet? Supposedly some guy saw her set her camera down and walk away. He then took the memory stick and it had very revealing pics on it. And of course he did his duty to mankind and posted them on the internet.

The real arguments are whether or not humans are causing/affecting it as much as some people say and whether or not it is part of a cycle that will naturally reverse over time.

Yup. Maybe human consumption has something to do with it, but not to the extent many out there are clamoring about. Climatologists projected that there was an era thought of as the "Medieval Warm Period" back in the 10th - 12th centuries and there was thought to be a "Little Ice Age" during Revolutionary times in the 18th and 19th centuries. It seems more like a cyclical phenomenon instead of one that is human-induced, considering there was no industrialization which would pump fossil fuels into the atmosphere during medieval times and it seems strange that there would be dramatic cooling as well.

in the 1970s the environmental zealots were clamoring about global cooling eradicating all life on earth. Now that we had a few years of negligible global warming everything is going to melt and cause complete chaos.

All the warming rhetoric is overblown and in some cases is tainted with paranoia. And isolated instances are not scientific measurements; just ancedotal. The unseasonably warm temperatures in the northeast are the cause of a warm front moving through. The previous record was 63 back in 1950. You'll be realizing that the dead of winter is coming in full force in the next couple of weeks. Just ask people out in the West getting pummeled by snow. That system will probably push forward to the East sometime in the near future.
