So I had just got home and was about to sit down and hear a loud explosion.

At first I thought it was a transformer. They blow a lot and we lose power. I open my door and hear a loud screeching so I go downstairs. I walked around and see a Chevy truck plowed into the garage and is spinning out. By the time I get there he's got both back wheels down to the rim almost. Huge crowd of people standing around.

Dude is non responsive but eyes open. One guy finally goes up and cuts the ignition off. But the truck is leaking fluids and the rims are now glowing red. Me and two other guys had to get him out and carry him away. Got him laid down and he's breathing but choppy. Eyes open and half his face is droopy. Classic stroke symptom and likely why he couldn't move his foot off the gas.

Fire engines and ambulances had to come from far away but finally showed up. The station close by was out on another call. The lead engine started hitting it with the water cannon immediately and if they hadn't arrived when they did the thing was going to blow.

His poor wife had no idea. Walked outside from the other side of the complex and sees her husband getting worked on by the EMTs. Poor lady. Hopefully the dude is ok. Crazy scene.

I need a drink.

Holy shtein J, that's crazy. Looks like you were still lucky, could have lost the place in a fire. Hope the guys is ok but it doesn't sound good.

I was wondering today, which :CF loser is gonna be the first to die IRL?

We havn't had a death yet, right?
There were a couple older guys who used to post here...fansince64 and his brother (user name escapes me) and neither of them have posted in years. I know Sus used to see them at his tailgate from time to time, but I don't think they've been seen there in quite a while. Maybe one or both of them kicked the bucket?

Either way, I've got my money on those 2.

Yeah it was crazy. I walked over to the section of garages he hit and thank god he hit the brick portion because otherwise he goes through the garage and into a lower level apartment behind it or gets stuck in the garage and we can't get him out and the truck catches fire and he goes up with it.

FS61 was the brother.  I met one of them once, can't remember which.

By numbers, surely someone who used to post here regularly has died.  I meant one of the pitiful regulars to count his membership in this bizarre fan club in double digit years, five digit posts, etc.

Did that Mick Gassler dude ever post here or was that just the old EMB?
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

That was the og emb.  Black background and green font. Didn't he die because he was dui?

General_Failure

Firestone tire blew out on him, but he was drunk.

Lemme guess, the latter doesn't cancel out the former and the lawyers win.
